障害者の尊厳は果たして守られるのか？ちょっと考えたくなりますが、先日の障害者の殺傷事件からまだ何日も経っていませんが、もう障害者への暴行事件のニュースがあったようです。(´Д｀)
千葉県旭市にある重度の心身障害者が入所する施設で、入所者に暴行しけがを負わせるなどしたとして２９日、傷害と暴行の疑いで施設の元介護職員を逮捕したとのことです。
逮捕容疑は、１２日午後３時２０分ごろ、旭市野中の医療型障害児入所施設「聖母療育園」内で、入所者の男性（５２）の左胸を殴るなどして軽傷を負わせ、約３時間半後にも、顔を殴るなどの暴行を加えたとしているそうです。
施設側によると、男性の胸に内出血の痕があるのを別の職員が発見。内部調査で容疑者の犯行と特定し、同署や市に通報した。同署が動機や余罪などを調べているそうです。
容疑者は２月に同園に採用された。勤務態度はまじめでおかしな様子はなかったという。施設側は「事実を重く受け止め、二度と同じことがないよう職員の指導などを強化していきたい」としているそうです。
んー・・・。この手の事件はやはり動機が気になりますね。どんな理由にせよ暴力はいけませんが、色々な理由は考えられると思うんです。
「まじめでおかしな様子はなかった」という施設側のコメントですが、度重なる施設職員のこのような事件においては指導が十分とは思えませんし、このような仕事に対しての適正もきちんと見極めなければならない気がします。(^_^.)
